My understanding is for Adults the LA have no statutory requirement to offer
training. This is not the case for Children. Bridget Brickley

be able to offer more precise advice or indeed Michael will know.
That said, this week, the Working Party [known as the Group of 6] from the City
Vulnerable People Forum will meet ahead of the wider forum (scheduled for 25
May). One subject that has been developing a consensus is to design a more
formal approach to joint training for street-based activity. Safeguarding would
be one subject that would be included. Street Pastors, Homeless Outreach, Soup
Kitchen etc all have similar requirements.
There may be some online training or fairly inexpensive training available on
the web.

Not one for the Board really but are you aware of any free safeguarding
training sessions for Vol groups..
In this case ... Street Pastors.. ideally Saturday or evening.
