Hey WSMACers!
Our next topic/project to focus on is getting the Letter of Interest *LOI*
out to the Bicycle Coalition of Maine. Their deadline to receive this
letter is approaching fast - June 15th!
Here’s your part in helping us achieve such a goal.
The Grant would fund the following:
- Bike paths, lanes, trails, route signage, and bridges
- Mountain bike facilities
- Bike parks and pump tracks
- BMX facilities
- End-of-trip facilities such as bike racks, bike parking, bike repair
stations, and bike storage.
Does any of the above catch your attention? If so which ones?
Also please let us know if you've already had conversations with others
about this, and what their thoughts were.
Please reply to the list no later than Tuesday, June 13th, to let us know
what infrastructure project/s you would like to see funded. The core group
will make the final decision and write the LOI next week.
