I was in a public meeting with the Portland Bike/Ped Advisory Committee
tonight and learned of an organization called Transit Together. Their
website is https://www.transittogether.org/. My attention was caught when a
member of it who was at this meeting described it as advocating for
mobility and safety for all modes of transportation. It looks like their
focus is public transit, and more active in policy advocacy than in
education, as we are.
They are having their monthly meeting this Thursday, 10:30 AM - Noon, by
Zoom. I thought people on this list might especially be interested because
one of the items on their agenda is a review of mobility-related bills in
this legislative session, including LD 669 “An Act To Ensure Public Ways
Are Compliant with the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990"

I don't think I can attend, due to my work schedule, but it sounded like
