Kim, They are fantastic ! You' re correct, in saying, we need to be able
to maintain kids and middle school, and elementary school students Interest
in order to make the communication stay in their mind and memory about
safely crossing streets, riding bicycles, and telling parents what they
have learned. I will have to tell you a true story about Beanie Babies
sometime, but not here.

The Streetwise Gang
The Streetwise Gang is a group of individuals that have come together to
educate the public about motorist, bicyclist, and pedestrian safety as well
as to advocate for change in an effort to ensure the safe mobility and
access for all.
Characters:
Johnny 2-Wheels, bicycle guru
Detective Streetwise, chief rule enforcer and Instructor
Arhwe Thairyet, Pedestrian pioneer
Vicky Vecteryz, Communictions specialist
Daniel Busengo, traffic analyst
Dentin Falsdinalat, Traveling teen
Wess 'Walnut' Brook, preschool monster and tot educator
These characters could be utilized for educating older children, teens, and
if utilized correctly adults through written stories, skits, and/or short
videos (30-90 second "infomercial " type videos).
Its important when reaching out to kids we make it fun so the information
sticks.
