Technics, which happens to be just a few doors down from my office on John
Roberts Road, but I haven't gotten to it yet. I'm personally interested in
learning more about the any roadway changes, although I have been given to
understand they won't be major. Which reminds me that I could just ask
*Eric* if those plans are available for perusal at a city office, or will
be.
Regarding the internals of the development, Dennis and I attended the
presentation that they gave to the Nason's Corner Neighborhood Association
last fall, and he and I have relayed the information back to the other
members at some meetings. We also attended the city council meeting where
Phase I was approved. I'm totally on board with it, especially of course
the emphasis and walkability and bikability in the center, and trails along
the brook and/or RR track ("rail with trail", since it is still lightly
used by trains). There's even talk of light passenger rail between Portland
and Rock Row, especially for shows.That doesn't sound too far along yet,
but it's exciting to think about.
I believe I introduced myself to Josh Levy at the NCNA meeting, and gave
him one of my BCM/CyclingSavvy business cards, but not a WSMAC card, I'm
sure to Leelee's chagrin.
I think you may have just suggested a name upgrade for us: Westbrook Safe
Mobility & Access Champions! I like it!! It even fits the same acronym.

core of the development is for pedestrian only access.
Just wondering if your group has reached out to the developer so they are
aware of WSMAC and your goals for all of Westbrook.
