Do you mean the Accident at WCD and Stroudwater OR the Accident at Austin
and East Bridge Street or did One take place while I was away in September
?
2. I most definitely would like to include Chief Roberts, if possible, in a
discussion on the Combined Motor Vehicle and Pedestrian Congestion on Main
Street at Mr. Bagel's ~ Subway and River's Edge Deli - A so far no
Injuries or Fatalities Area, but a deadly Serious Mixture of Impatient
Speeding , Distracted DRIVERS and PEDESTRIANS who cross Main Street
Anywhere they want without Warning from between curb parked vehicles.
The marked but Not Signed Crosswalk at Main and Dunn Streets is becoming a
second Dangerous Pedestrian Crossing Area. Low and Bright Afternoon Aurumn
Sunlight in this Area from Main at Stroudwater to Main at Capt. Bill
Hartley Drive adds to the Mix for a Pedestrian Fatality.
Sorry to be Negative but the Conditions are there. That is one of Reasons
for our Organization.
