Subject: [wsmac] Monthly meeting: Wed June 21, 5:30 PM, WWCC

I will lead this month's meeting of the Westbrook Safe Mobility & Access
Committee, as Lee will be away at summer camp. (Have fun!!)

We will start at 5:30 PM, at Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church, right next
to the library. Enter from the lower door off the parking lot, which is not
coincidentally off Church Street.

As always, my online notes
document<https://docs.google.com/document/d/13RvnvIzz7vkuTblwf0yA-8cq-VyJeYT6Og-CrfRMvSk/edit?usp=sharing>
contains not just the upcoming agenda, but past meeting notes. Here is the
agenda I just inserted that document:

June 21 Proposed Agenda

5:30 PM, Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church

1.     Introductions [5 mins]

2.     Pedestrian Forum Followup with Shannon from BCM [20 mins]

3.     BCM Grant Update [up to 45 mins]

We should know by Wednesday whether or not we got this. If so, we will have to
discuss next steps for the full application due July 30. I’ve put the
application details document online
here<https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzU-cj7_nEp7ZHJmSXhsX3A5aU0>. If we did
not get it, we will spend only 5 minutes on it and move on.

4.     MaineDOT Bike/Ped Grant Funding for Cumberland Triangle [up to 45 mins]

This is the idea that Jill raised in our recent email about looking into a
grant to fund sidewalk improvements around the Cumberland Triangle area as part
of, or subsequent to, the upcoming roadway improvement project.

This agenda item is optional depending on if we got the BCM grant. If that item
requires further discussion, we will just mention this one briefly and postpone
further discussion to the next meeting.

5.     Brief updates: [15 mins]

a.     WTD Parade!

b.     Logo

c.     Video promotion opportunity

d.     Comic book education ideas
