Thank You for that update.
The one concern I would have for Would be Pedestrians there are the
drivers crossing County Road, Rte. 22, on the far R / H Lane of Spring
Street heading towards The Maine Mall. Many drivers come Flying across the
Intersection, intent on getting ahead of the vehicles on the L / H straight
thru lane before those two lanes merge into 1 Lane.

I saw the #3 while on my bike this morning! I saw one coming back towards
Westbrook on Cummings Road, then I saw another stopped at JCPenny. I'll
probably take it home today to avoid sweating! :-)
P.S. to Dennis, who asked about this: Yes, they are definitely installing a
crosswalk at the corner of Spring Street and County Road, on the side where
Husson and the call center business is. There will also be sidewalks
leading a little way down the road towards those buildings.

Hi all,
Metro’s Husky Line launch event is today! It starts at USM Portland at
11am, then they’ll give rides on the route, with stops in Westbrook and
Gorham for remarks. Our own Ann Peoples will be speaking at Westbrook! Come
out to the Mechanic St hub around 12:30/45 to join us if you can.
Additionally, this bus and the new Route 3 (goes through Westbrook down to
the mall) are free through Wednesday.
