Tuesday afternoon, I parked on Main Street, just past Bagala Windows, to
purchase a G / C at Casa Novello's Restaurant, which is across the street,
with the " Open " banner visible. As you can see, this was around 4:30PM
with spurts of traffic in both Directions. What is NOT Visible is the
Crosswalk - I mean the absence of Visible Lemon Yellow Pedestrian Symbols
with the angled Downward pointing Arrow, in both East and West sides of
Main Street, showing Drivers Where the Crosswalk is.
Casa Novello's, I understand, is under new ownership and is supposed to be
having a " Ribbon Cutting " Ceremony soon. A number of new small businesses
are in this area of Main Street. Pedestrians intending to cross Main
Street on the Crosswalk at Main and Dunn Streets are on their own. And as I
saw Tuesday, not all Drivers are moving at 25 MPH. This Crosswalk can be
busy in the Evening Hours, when Casa Novello's is serving Dinner.
