That's a very good idea. For a wider reach, we could see if the BCM wants
to try to get a guest editorial in the Press Herald, which would get a
wider readership, then we could share that on social media. If not, we
could pursue something with the AJ, and/or letters to the editor of
either/both.
A related idea, which I just happened to be thinking about the other night,
as I was noticing it getting dark, was sometimes BCM has held an event to
give away cheap (but effective enough to be seen) lights for free to people
that have none. I don't know if they have any such plans this year, and the
pandemic may complicate that.

Without the September Kids Safety Day this Year, would it be a Good
Advocacy Idea to ask the American Journal and the Community Center Facebook
to publish a Safety Reminder about having Lights and Red Reflectors on your
Bicycles from the WSMAC and the BC of Maine. And to wear your Helmet.
