A friendly but Scary Reminder:
This was at the Multi Street Intersection on the USM Portland Campus around
7:30pm.
I had 1 passenger, drivetrain in 4 WD high. Was stopped at Brighton Ave
and Falmouth St. waiting to turn R to Falmouth. I was first in line. Just a
microsecond before the Green Light came on, a Pedestrian in a maroon jacket
with her dog on a leash, suddenly appeared jogging by and around the
driver's side and around in front of me to the Right side of Falmouth
Street. I don't recall seeing any kind of light or any reflective striping
on her jacket. I was stopped behind the marked Crosswalk. I have no idea
if there are Pedestrian pushbutton activated Crosswalk controls at that
Intersection.
