I’ve probably not attended a meeting for a while but, if my vote matters, I
vote to elect the slate as it stands.

, by your "apparent Secretary-Elect".
This is a perfect opportunity to give everyone a final reminder that you can
still vote in the current election if you haven't already! The poll will remain
open until end of day tomorrow, Sunday 3/21!

I would like to propose that we continue to vote either by poll as we have done
this year or by paper ballot for future elections. My reasoning is this: voting
by poll or paper ballot allows for anonymous voting. With anonymous voting
voters are able to vote freely and are more likely to vote based on their
feelings about who will so their job well instead of worrying about hurting
someone's feelings (I am not suggesting that this is occurring). It also puts
less pressure on the committee and allows us a bit more time to decide how we
want to vote. I would like to see this come up for discussion at a future
meeting.--
