I'm finally able to access WiFi at Maine Med on my laptop yay! Doing better
every day and hoping to go home next week. Gonna catch up on missed notes
and other news today; please feel free to email me *though not sure how

Sorry for the delay on letting you know the results of our Letter of
Interest for the BCM grant. I was out of town over the weekend, and LeeLee
has been having health problems and is in Maine Medical Center. She's
stable, but would probably appreciate greetings over Facebook. I don't know
if she has access to email.
Our proposal to BCM was not accepted to progress to a full application.
Feedback was that the proposal was "too broad in scope". Other letters they
received were specific to one particular project.
I had a feeling that might be the case, but in our defense, we did not
have a lot of time to put something together, especially with the timing
relative to Westbrook Together Days. But we are welcome to apply again next
year, so we have some time now to keep thinking about it and come up with
something more specific for next year.
This weekend I will tidy up my notes from our last meeting and send them
out as their own email. Until then, as always, you can read notes from this
