Many Thanks to you and our WSMAC colleague for the Link you sent to us.
That covers All perspectives. And sharing the Road by everyone is mandatory.
Carson Wood also shared a Very Important but sometimes overlooked, forgotten
ingredient in our ability to safely reach and return to / from our daily
destinations - Our Mental State - Anger, Sadness, Illness, Distractions - of
which there seem to be many these days - changes caused by drugs, alcohol.
I will share a small anecdote of my own from a June 1981, 2 Weeks Annual Field
Training to England in the Maine Air National Guards. We stayed at one RAF
Base and worked at another one, about 12 Miles apart. For those 2 Weeks, some
of us secured " Temporary " Driver's Licenses. We had two vans - one American ,
the other a Lotus Ford Van, with the Steering Wheel on the Right hand side.
And, most critical of all, we drove those two weeks on the " wrong " side of
the road - Roundabouts were most exciting, going around CW instead of CCW. You
had to remember which way traffic was coming from !
We were able to take a Bus to Cambridge, a beautiful City of Universities and
Colleges on the River Cam. We were there during Final Exams . Our RAF Hosts
advised / warned us about Students running late for a class or for an Exam.
Most would be pedaling Bicycles and might, for an instance, forget about ...
coming to an intersection where a tourist or an unsuspecting American may be
walking unseen, towards a potential collision. Thankfully, as far as I know,
that never happened.
We who were driving, became quite familiar with driving on the wrong side of
the road, and then, it was time to return home !!!
PS I Apologize for the length of this !

Yes, I like that too. It brings together a lot of aspects of the problem. Can
you post that to our Facebook group?
