Good Morning Carson,
Well, not quite on my head but one slip in the snowplow bank and I would
have been on my head !
When one happens to see Technicians working on the Control Cabinets'
Electrical and Electronics at Forest and Main Streets or at Bridge and
Cumberland Streets, for the new Signals,
new Pedestrian activated Crosswalk Controls and the underground Traffic
Sensors, you realize how much technology is involved.

did some photos, then pushed the Button Arrow to come back across. When the
little illuminated walking man came up across the WCD, I looked L and R and
started walking across. A group of maybe 5 Teenage Boys had pushed the
button arrow to wait on the DUNKIN side to cross but my activation came on
first, They were looking at a friend's Cellphone or Music and one of them
saw me coming across, the orange 🍊 seconds were down to 13, I said "
Better hurry up!

I was mistaken about that signal because I had to find it when
traveling alone. It seemed to point incorrectly.
The problem with the signal is the speech works intermittently.
The signal on the Northwest corner nearest Dunkin Donuts on the corner
of Stroudwater & William Clark Drive points out into traffic and is mute.
The worst signal is the one I originally mentioned and Dennis stood on
his head to photograph is at least 8 feet away from where the crosswalk is
and points into traffic.
