Thanks for the Perspectives on the Sign. I noticed the new Sign after
backing into a Parking Slot at Dunkin so I could see and observe the Drive
- Up Window Lane and the Drive Around Lane. Have you read my E - Mail on
the experience of a friend's Drive - Up at the new Dunkin? And watching
some Drivers zipping around the Drive Around Lane.

Actually, I and a lot of bicyclists I know don’t care for these signs.
They mean well, but they are vague. They don’t really give any specific
instruction for how to share the road. We have found that some motorists
use them as an excuse to tell cyclists to “share the road”, meaning “move
over and get out of my way”. Delaware’s DOT is actually phasing them out.
Many of us prefer the “Bikes May Use Full Lane” sign, because it is more
specific.
