I made a brief stop at Hannaford' s, about an hour ago, after returning
from Waterville. I prefer exiting via the straight 2 way Road along the
far eastern side of the Store, which brings you straight out to the Signals
at WCD. That avoids the congestion at the Intersection with the perimeter
road that goes past the Bank and all the Parking Lanes.
But, the recent Snowstorms have resulted in a Pyramid of Snow exactly in
the line of sight where the exiting road along the eastern side meets the
exiting lane of the perimeter lane. I slowed down and stopped coming down
the straight exit lane to the WCD signals, upon seeing a WHITE small car
appear at the Intersection with my exit lane and the perimeter lane exit,
who was going to go ahead and then Left directly in front of me if I had
not seen he/ her first and stopped.
Whoever has the Contract to plow the Hannaford Parking Lot should Remove
that Pyramid of Snow First before any other snow piles.
