I think his target article from BBS (or at least a penultimate draft) can b=
e found with a google search.  Then you can have a better idea.

Searle is a much better philosopher than he appears to be given misundersta=
nding..  Let me rephrase!  :-)  Searle is often gotten wrong in attempts to=
 make him look as if he's ignorant of what computational machines must be l=
ike.

The value of the XCR is that it forces workers in the AI community to come =
to grips with what they are about.
