Let's see if I get it. The "non-physical" is the person acting.  But, if
one holds that all thoughts and behaviors are physically caused, then
wouldn't that be consistent with "causal closure of the physical" --
from that point of view.

Again, if one conceives of qualia as caused by brain events then, in
that sense, first-person phenomenology is having a physical effect.

  As you know, I'm not a brain causation enthusiast. But by asking the
question, I'll get a better understanding.
