[wisb] murmurations of starlings

This video, filmed by two young Irish women, shows amazingly beautiful flock 
formations of European Starlings coming in to their nighttime  roost on an 
island in the River Shannon.  The news says this video has "gone viral," which 
I guess means people all over the world are looking at it:

It is interesting to reflect that, once upon a time, perhaps there were many 
bird species abundant enough to provide such amazing displays.  Today, I can 
only think of starlings, various "blackbird" species around the world, and some 
shorebird species that do so.
