Hello I am having a heck of a time trying to identify a bird song.
Unfortunately, I don't have anyway of recording it. Live in SE Vernon County
and have been hearing it for two weeks and unable to get a visual. High in
trees on top of our hill
Sound is two distinct notes with slight pause ( like an anvil being struck)
and then a descending thrill - repeats maybe every 30 seconds. Early morning
and early evening - haven't heard it during the day
Any suggestions? Been searching Cornell Lab site without any luck
Thanks
Chris
