Hi All,
It's been a record-breaking (for us) day in our back yard today. We had 24
species in
all this morning before noon, including 8 warbler species -- Black-throated
Blue and Northern
Parula among them. This evening between 5:25 and 6:20, we had 20 species,
with
9 warbler species in their midst - this time giving us 2 Northern Parulas
(including
a brightly bedecked adult male) and an Orange-crowned Warbler. The most
yard
species in a day until now was around 16. Today's total was 30! My outing
this
morning in Odana Ponds was disappointing - 2 warbler species. It may pay to
spend
more attention to our back yard.

Cheers,

Chuck Heikkinen & Delia Unson
