I was going on a dog walk in the early evening at Washington Park (Milwaukee), thinking, I've been combing that park so much, there won't be anything new for a quick dusk walk. But grabbed my binoculars anyway, and still trained on them on anything that moved. Saw what I was sure was going to be a song sparrow or another white-throated sparrow, but WOW that looks different. A striking lark sparrow, only my 2nd lifetime. Always pays to look just in case......
