We missed all the nice rain in this part of the state. Darn. While sitting on the deck this afternoon, a Nighthawk flew over (going nw.). Shortly thereafter a Blackburnian Warbler and Yellow- bellied Flycatcher came into the crabapple by the deck; also a Warbling Vireo. This morning an Ovenbird was in that same tree. Yesterday an immature Yellow and Nashville Warbler bathed in one of the bird baths. The former was bathing while I was standing less than 5 feet from it. (Took it forever to finish its bath.) At least some passerine migrants are beginning to trickle in.
