I was informed this evening that the wife of a friend of mine saw a Wormeating Warbler on May 15 near Hemlock Draw. She had an excellent look at the bird as it sat in a tree just 15 feet away from her. There was no doubt that it was a Wormeating Warbler based on the colors and strips. She seemed especially impressed by the look of the bird as it turned its head toward her. I have been assured that they will call me the next time they see another. And I will let you know if another call is made. In the mean time, I hope you can be satisfied in at least knowing that it is possible to see a Wormeating Warbler in this area. A bit of luck sure seems to help. Good Luck. Jim Schwarz Madison, Dane Co #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
