Hey all- While walking the Howard Temin Lakeshore Path along University Bay, and fairly randomly managed to find four WILLET without binoculars, on the sand spits just north of the little creek that flows in behind the Natatorium. There was also a Calidris sp and a Spotted Sandpiper. On our way back, they were gone, as far as I could see, but we heard and briefly saw the two Great Horned Owl fledglings very near the same area, hunting on a berm and screaming. And today I have my FOY Magnolia Warbler singing and foraging in the cedar tree in my backyard.
