Another birder has caught an error in my post, thankfully before I got anyone lost. The tamarack bog is due north of the Frog Alley parking lot, not south. Park near the dedication sign and walk north along the trail that is on the west side of the property. As you work downslope, the trail gets wet , so I recommend waterproof footwear up to at least a few inches above the ankles. The tamaracks will be obvious from this point. Both species are rather nomadic, so I don't know if they'll be there tomorrow. I apologize for the error.
