Woodland Dunes Nature Center and Preserve in Two Rivers, WI has a very
interesting article in their latest newsletter describing a structured research
study of the effect of wind turbines on birds. The study included the usual
finds of bird carcasses but also included tests for searcher efficiency and for
scavengers. Their conclusions are very interesting.
I get the newsletter as a hardcopy so I don't know if you can view it on their
website. Their website is www.woodlanddunes.org
