Hi all, I decided to try for the Vermilion Flycatcher today. I stopped by to take another look at the Broad-billed Hummingbird on the way. It was nice to watch it in the better light today. Here's a few more photos. http://www.pbase.com/dhfreriks/image/139732117 http://www.pbase.com/dhfreriks/image/139732116 http://www.pbase.com/dhfreriks/image/139732115 I then headed over to try to locate the Vermilion Flycatcher. Luck was on my side and I had it located even before I got out of the car. I watched it for right around an hour. It fed along the row of trees from the road to the lake, mostly near the lake. A few of times it flew out along the shoreline both to the left and the east. I didn't see it for the last 10 minutes or so.... Noel and Carl pulled up just as I was leaving so hopefully it reappeared for them. It's a very active bird and seemed continually on the move.
