There were a few warblers near the maintenance bldgs. at the Trempealeau Refuge in mid afternoon on Sunday, Sept. 6. Saw Tennessee, Nashville, and magnolia warblers with a flock of chickadees, a white-breasted nuthatch, and several cedar waxwings. An immature field sparrow was seen foraging on the gravel road along the wildlife drive, and there were families of bluebirds seen also.
