Yesterday on the way back from northwestern WI, with Todd and Betty Berens
we saw a whooping crane in with about a dozen sandhills on a recently worked
field. The location for this citing was Hwy 21 in Adams County west of
County G and more precisely within a ½ mile west of 3rd Ave. Birds were on
the south side of the road, time was around 6 p.m.
