Greetings, I took a run up to Marquette Co on Saturday. It was like spring with the sun shining but still had 6?-24? of snow where I was. I did some hiking around and observed pairs of both Red-headed and Pileated Woodpeckers. I did get some shots of the Red-headed Woodpeckers. They were digging out some of the old acorns that they had stored under the bark of the dead oaks last fall.
