This morning, a small herd of birders clustered on a pier at the south end of the Shoop Park lot to view the Phalarope who continues, remarkably, to stick around in quite windy/wavy conditions. It stayed close to one of the rock jetties south of the final park area jetty, before private property. In fact, it seemed amazing that the bird was not dashed against the stones. A scope is quite helpful for best details of this bird, though it is visible with bins. Betsy Abert, So.
