Steve Thiessen just called. He's looking at a smaller loon (either
Red-throated or possible Pacific) in transitional plumage. However, it's
far out from the shore, and he can't be certain which.
He's at Pleasant Springs on Lake Kegonsa, looking straight out or about 2
o'clock. Near Kegonsa State Park.
