Dan Graham, who I believe is from the Madison area, posted on the Facebook page seeing one in his yard today. I plan to get my feeders up ASAP. Just want to let you know that Hummers may be back in Dane County. Yesterday I saw what seemed like a Hummer in our back yard on the west side of Madison. It came and left so quickly, that I am trying to talk myself out of the sighting. The bird seemed to hover briefly at the spot where we normally have a Hummingbird feeder. Even though I cannot be certain I decided to mention this so that you know there is a possibility of them being here early as Pat Ready mentioned a few days ago. Wish I had put a feeder out when he suggested looking for them.
