This can never be said often enough: never, ever leave anything in sight in your vehicle, wherever you park! To all those who may find themselves in Lake Park in Milwaukee, please be wary of the circumstances of where and when you park your car. This morning, someone smashed a window on my car and stole my spotting scope and tripod. As I left, I noticed another pile of glass about fifty feet behind where I had parked my car. Also, last week a friend parked on Lincoln Memorial Drive, just below the bluff from Lake Park, had their car broken into as well. I guess what I'm trying to say is be careful of what you leave in your car. Although my spotting scope wasn't the nicest in relation to some scopes, to someone looking for a fix it looks like gold.
