Sorry about the wrong time for shooting. Mark Martin corrected it. I should have updated the walking directions. Parking on Cty M ,across from Caine road, it's easiest to walk straight back along the wood line. This gets you to the best area and your not right next to the water. Then walk slowly along one of the paths in the shorter smartweed. Today ( I was going somewhere else, but no one was there), I had good looks at 4 Nelson's from one spot. I walked out and around them and had good looks at one more. I didn't find any towards the eastend, but I was taking it easy. Lots of Savannah's, 2 Lincoln's, and 1 White-Crowned. This area can be good anytime of day. I was there 9:50 - 11:00. The geese were in at Stoughton, so I checked on the Ross's. It was right by Jackson Street.
