At 2:50 this afternoon, I observed a beautiful male NORTHERN PARULA at
Pheasant Branch in Middleton. The bird was in the small wooded area along
Pheasant Branch Creek just to the east of Parmenter Street and west of the
third bridge west of Park Ave. Also present were at least a dozen
Golden-crowned Kinglets, one Ruby-crowned Kinglet, several Yellow-bellied
Sapsuckers, at least five Yellow-Rumped Warblers, and one Winter Wren.
