After I got my kids on the bus, I drove over to look for the White-faced Ibis in Muskego. It is only about 20 minutes from my house. There was another birder there when I arrived who had not seen the bird. I spent a few minutes looking from Loomis Dr. but could not see it. I then went to Hwy. 36 which is higher and gives a better view of the entire small pond. From there I could see it at the north end of the small marsh. I went back to Loomis Dr. and had some excellent views of it in spite of the rain. A nice find. There is also a Sandhill Crane on a nest in this marsh and Karen Johnson saw both Virginia and Sora Rails here. Sorry the other birder had left for work when I found the ibis. I hope she can get it on her way home. Mark Korducki, New Berlin #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
