Highlights of the Madison Audubon Society warbler walk this morning at Pheasant Branch Conservancy included great looks at a PROTHONOTARY WARBLER, a BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER up in the canopy, and 3 BROAD-WINGED HAWKS circling overhead. Other warblers included BLUE-WINGED, NORTHERN PARULA, BLACK-AND-WHITE, PINE, BLACKPOLL, OVENBIRD, LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH, and NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH. Of over 60 bird species nearly 20 were warblers. Other birds included LEAST FLYCATCHER, YELLOW-THROATED VIREO, BALTIMORE ORIOLES, SCARLET TANAGER, and ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAKS. Thanks to all the participants that help make the field trip a success!
