Hello, Had a fairly busy morning with the following species banded: Magnolia warblers (4), American redstarts (2), black-capped chickadees (3), ovenbirds (5), Northern waterthrush, house wren, wood thrush, white-throated sparrows (18), Swainson's thrush (4), gray-cheeked thrush (3), hermit thrush, Northern flicker, and rose-breasted grosbeaks (2). Recaptures: 1) gray catbird banded 17 May 2008, 2) gray catbird banded 17 May 2009. Some species observed today include: blue jays, white-breasted and red-breasted nuthatch, cedar waxwing, turkey, American kestrel, and hairy woodpecker. Fun day--thanks to everyone!
