I kept reading with envy all these posts about warblers showing up as far north as Green Bay, and had yet to see any but a few yellow rumped warblers. But finally, on Sunday, I spotted a Palm Warbler and blue gray gnatcatcher at the Kenosha Dunes. There were several great blue herons and waves of blue jays flying overhead, a kingfisher, a pair of wood ducks, several northern flickers, a few Northern Shovelers and an oriole also. I, too, would ask that postings mention in the subject line the county involved. It would make things a lot easier! This is a great time of year!
