This morning while running a Bigby to Manitowoc I heard a singing Kentucky Warbler. The location is .17 miles north of the north parking lot to Fischer Creek Conservation Area north of Cleveland, Wi on the west side of CTH LS. I was heading north and CTH LS makes a sharp right turn here, there is a yellow arrow sign warning you that the road turns. At approximately 6:10am this morning while biking past the spot I heard the Kentucky sing. I immediately stopped and and listened. The bird was quite active singing and moving around. This is private property (according to the signs). I stayed on the road and actually waited for the bird to come to me. After a short wait the bird finally appeared and sang. I continued on to Manitowoc, birded for an hour and a half then headed back to Sheboygan. When I biked past the same location at 10:40am the Kentucky was still singing.
