Besides the usual suspects, special treats were a Northern Shrike on Ledge Road, first of the season; female Purple Finch at east end of Old Marsh Road - watched her feeding for some time; White Throated and White Crowned Sparrows at east end of Old Marsh Road; Peregrine Falcon on Dike Road in the tree he seems to call home; a few Dunlin and Pectoral Sandpipers on Dike Road; Gadwall, Ring Necked Ducks and Redheads among the waterfowl north of Highway 49; Wilson's Snipe snoozing on a muskrat house north of Highway 49; Golden Crowned Kinglets along the Wild Goose Trail and American White Pelican flying over Ledge Road. Six photos, mostly just documentary quality, in this album: http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/560153132AtxAMc?vhost=outdoors Brad and Royan Webb Watertown, Dodge County -- |___| Brad Webb Brad@xxxxxxxxxxxx | | )o( ... and the pen wrote ... \|/ v Honesty is the best policy, but insanity is a better defense. #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
