I was along hwy 49 about 1 PM Jane Dennis and Bill Bright had glossys in scope. A whooping crane was along the dike behind the pumphouse and had a flyover peregrine falcon. Hope to see many of you over the weekend Jeff Bahls Lowell Wi Dodge Co -----Original Message----- From: "Marilyn Bontly" <mbontly@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 6 May 2010 16:11:00 To: <wisbirdn@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [wisb] Horicon Marsh stilts and ibis Today Tom Schaefer, Kathy Gallick and I located 2 black-necked stilts on Dike Rd. There was an assortment of shorebirds, mostly both yellowlegs, but Tom located a single ruddy turnstones. In the same area was a com. moorhen. After Tom left, Kathy and I drove 49 again and found the 2 glossy ibis on the edge of the shore just past the pump house. No white-faced ibis was seen. Good luck to all who attend the bird festival this weekend.
