Spent a little time this morning at Heckrodt Wetlands, High Cliff SP and the B pond. Amazing how quiet it was. There was nothing representing a migratory wave. Had a few flycatchers and vireos at Heckrodt that included a Philadelphia Vireo. High Cliff had nothing. The B pond had 6 shorebird species, nothing unusual. It remains amazing how quiet this May migration continues, at least what I have seen so far. It will be interesting what the upcoming WSO convention in Door county produces during the last half of this week.
