Havenwoods State Forest is a lovely place to walk in the fall, and today was no exception. Many Canada Geese passing overhead, with two Cacklers thrown in for good measure. Other nice finds included a Lesser Yellowlegs, three Snipe, three Yellow-Bellied Sapsuckers, LOTS of YR Warblers (along with single Black-Throated Green and Chestnut-Sided and a pair of Palms), first of fall Ruby-Crowned Kinglet, many White-Throated Sparrows (some singing), and three vireo species: Red-Eyed and Yellow-Throated (one each) and two Philadelphias. Total 31 species. Jym Mooney, Milwaukee #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
