This afternoon, on the way home from the WSO field trip along Lake Michigan (report to come later), Jon RotiRoti and I found a large concentration of gulls, ducks and other birds on Lake Winnebago – near the mouth of the Fond du Lac River. Some of the highlights included 5 Glaucous Gulls, 1 Thayer’s Gull, an American White Pelican, and 2 Double-crested Cormorants.
