A FRANKLIN'S GULL with extensive pink wash on underside was at the Milwaukee Coast Guard Impoundment today around 4pm. Gorgeous! It stayed for a few minutes then flew up with a bunch of Caspian Terns, Common Terns and Ring-billed Gulls and I lost track of it. I don't know which direction it went. =\ There was a single Bonaparte's Gull in the mix as well, giving me a nice comparison. I hope it stays in the area for someone else to get a look at it.
