I was birding this afternoon at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary in Green Bay and stumbled upon a duck that had me stumped - I don't know much about domesticated waterfowl, but my best guess is a domesticated mallard? Any help would be appreciated! He was associating with other Mallards on the water, though he was quite a bit larger than the others as shown in the second picture. http://www.flickr.com/photos/kari_lynne/6798544201/in/photostream http://www.flickr.com/photos/kari_lynne/6798544223/in/photostream/ There was also a very friendly Northern Pintail who came right up to my feet looking for a handout with a group of Mallards - http://www.flickr.com/photos/kari_lynne/6798544231/in/photostream/ as well as Lesser Scaup, Hooded Mergansers, Black Ducks, Canada Geese, Tree Sparrows, and a lone juvenile Bald Eagle soaring above.
